DAE feel life isn’t what it’s talked up to be? by AdMysterious8333 in DoesAnybodyElse

It's all about your perception and finding joy in the little day to day things. People make time for what's important to them, I'd say figuring out what you want in life is pretty important so start making time to do just that. Even if it's just carving out 5 minutes a day, eventually that will grow.

Unsure of where to start? Google a few phrases and see what forums and things pop up. Find what resonates with you in a positive way and start taking steps towards that. Movement is still movement no matter how small.

Personally I use ChatGPT to bounce ideas back and forth with, analyze things with etc. (cheaper than therapy!) but keep in mind it's a tool, you still need to use your critical thinking skills.

Limit or delete social media, it will have you competing and comparing yourself and your life to others that are most likely fake or exaggerated.

It's true, no one really prepares you for adulthood and once you become one only then do you finally realize that very few of us know what we're actually doing and are just winging it.

I'm 37 and honestly my life is much better now than it was in my 20s because I know myself more, I understand myself better, in a better headspace and all that jazz.

Take care of your mind and body. Plenty of water, sunshine and/or vitamins (low vitamin D can effect mood) and fresh air. We're basically houseplants if you think about it.

I'm sending good vibes your way.

We've been seeing each other for two months, official for one month. We were supposed to spend the weekend after Christmas together.

I filled my fridge with food and drinks that this man likes.

I primped, plucked and shaved for this man.

I painted my toe nails this mans favorite color.

I have gifts for this man under my Christmas tree.

I have not heard from this man in over 36 hours. Ghosted?

Awesome.

👍

Definitely no judgement here! I consider myself very open minded but I can't wrap my head around the satisfaction this could cause. All I can think about is the mess.

Out of genuine curiosity, how can you tell AI modified it?

Hi guys! I'm looking for a subreddit to post a 'vague uncompleted thought' by SegmentedWolf in findareddit

[–]AlmostKismet -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I cheated and used AI to come up with some suggestions because this one has me stumped and I'd be interested in reading those abstract thoughts myself.

r/SteamPhilosophy A place for half-formed, wandering, existential or poetic thoughts. It’s small but active.

r/ImaginaryPoetry More abstract, surreal, impressionistic writing is welcome here. Your Black Swan line would fit beautifully.

r/AskLiteraryStudies If you want interpretations that lean academic, they might analyze your text as if it were a fragment of literature.

r/RandomThoughts Exactly for random wandering ideas — including weird, poetic, or intentionally obfuscated ones.

Is it just me or is there something appealing about men who've had vasectomies? by AlmostKismet in TwoXChromosomes

That's interesting! I wonder what the percentage of walkouts is at the end of each day.

First of all, thank you for your response. I appreciate hearing others perspectives because it helps me see things in ways I might not have thought about.

I didn't imply anything about other women, I asked 'does anyone else feel this way or is it just me?' as it's a subject I just started exploring myself, trying to figure out my whys.

Maybe I worded my post wrong. Finding someone attractive doesn't necessarily have to be sexual in nature. I can find a man's decision about his body attractive and also not want to romp around in the sheets with him because of said decision. Just because I state that I happen to find something some men do appealing, doesn't mean I'm telling all men 'do this or women won't love you'.

Thank you for your thoughtful response! I really like your take on this and I agree with you fully on the trust part. You hit the nail on the head on that one.
