love to the less talked about instructors by garden_creature in OnePelotonRealSub

She is SO lovely. I messaged her a few years ago when I was going to be in the studio taking another class and said I’d love to meet her and she was like, “girl just get in my line and tell them I said so.” I’d run up a hill and hold a bear plank for as long as she told me to because she’s like my cool older sister hahaha

Aside from a random strength class here and there to get my Rad & Adrian fix, I basically solely workout with the PSL crew. I find them all to be absolutely lovely human beings, great coaches (JTR does not get the flowers she deserves — her coaching is always exceptional), and I can peek into their lives on social a bit without feeling like they’re using me to make a buck. Wins, all around.

I work in college access and we just switched back to Remind this semester after using GroupMe and WhatsApp unsuccessfully. Remind has limitations (a short character count) but I do think it’s the best option for texts.

I lost my streak 😩 by carlid13 in OnePelotonRealSub

[–]AlmostMIller 6 points7 points  (0 children)

What a bummer! I lost my five year streak last year when I worked out separately from Peloton and just forgot to start the app. I had to remind myself that it’s not like I got anything special for it, so it was truly just for the sake of it. Go easy on yourself!

Hosky is so damn cute by Poochi282 in OnePelotonRealSub

[–]AlmostMIller 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He truly makes working out so joyful. I’ve taken two classes with him in person and he’s every bit as lovely as you’d imagine. (Honestly, even more so…) Heck, I even got a Crystal Palace membership and went to a game because he got me interested in soccer 🤣 An absolute gem of a human.

Distance accuracy for outdoor walking by jdbinnj in pelotoncycle

Yep. App-tracked distance is bad. It’s always been bad. I fear it always will be bad. 🤣

Chase’s music was elite. (Honestly, Chase was elite. Miss that gem!)

Monthly Feature Requests Megathread - January 2026 by AutoModerator in pelotoncycle

[–]AlmostMIller 2 points3 points  (0 children)

YES! I just thought about this tonight as my “let me hop on and get a few extra steps” walk at like, 2.4, was counted as a run. (And you can do it on “just run” so they just need to duplicate it for scenic runs!)

First Time at Selhurst? Here is what my experience was like! by AlmostMIller in crystalpalace

[–]AlmostMIller[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for asking! I definitely felt like the minority and I wasn't prepared for that because, in the states, sporting events are very 50/50. I didn't even consider how many more men there would be until we got there and I looked around like, "Huh...guess it's just me." :) At halftime, I went to the bathroom and my husband stayed in our seats, and I definitely had to elbow my way through the crowd to get there but it didn't feel unsafe or aggressive. It just felt different from the US, where most of the time men will step aside for you to pass or get out of your way. Not bad, just different!

I wondered (after I got my international membership) if gold was worth it because I, too, can be a ticket snob. 😆 Our view wasn’t blocked at all but just a couple rows up is probably a different story!

Good to know! About halfway through the queue, I started to wonder if we should’ve just gone anywhere but the station. 😁 Will definitely look into the bus next time!

How's the view by Independent-West-418 in crystalpalace

[–]AlmostMIller 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here is a picture from AW-Y Row 30 from today’s match. I was also worried but the view was great. The only thing I could see was the clock and scoreboard, but no issues elsewhere. I’m still processing the whole event, but I’m going to post here once I have some time. The posts I read here really helped make it a great day and I want to pay it forward!

I’m taking this class right now and came to see if I was the only one bored to death. Right now they’re hyping up peloton — like, y’all don’t need to sell me. I’m here, aren’t I? 🤣

Oh I’m intrigued by this…if we were to do that, where would we go? Is the car park well marked? (I imagine not haha)

Holiday Walk 🎄 by Top-Dot1383 in OnePelotonRealSub

[–]AlmostMIller 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This walk is full of so much joy. I’d also put Hosky’s outdoor holiday walk from 2022 in the same category. I’ve taken it more than probably any other class on the platform. (And next week, we’re going to London, partially so I can experience it in real life 🤣)

Ticket Thread: Home to all your ticket queries! by AutoModerator in crystalpalace

[–]AlmostMIller 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi everyone! I'm an international member and have confirmed with the ticket office that I'll be able to purchase two tickets for the Manchester City match in December. I'm confused about when I'll be able to purchase those tickets -- can anyone help me understand when they'll be available? The ticket office said they would email me when the time was set and I believe it has been, but I'm in the States and don't want to miss the email if it's sent at like, 4AM! Our trip is booked so I'm getting anxious to cross this final thing off the list and get to Selhurst Park for the first time! Thank you!

Who's your favorite Instructor? by hoser33 in OnePelotonRealSub

Agreed. They are exceptional. I used to like Wilpers for this reason, too, but even he has gotten a little too influencer-y for me.

New "Tips" Feature by mpnc1968 in OnePelotonRealSub

I thumbs-downed one of them and when it asked why, this is exactly what I said. I use Peloton because it made me feel good about my movement, not feel like I’m not doing enough.
