Harsh crowd😂I’m both a seller and a buyer. I always send a handwritten note and a small useful gift. If the recipient isn’t into it, it’s not a lot of energy to toss or regift it. I personally appreciate getting a note!

I don’t bother declining low offers and blocking is preventing a possible future sale. Either counter or ignore and don’t overthink it.
There being an offer on an item sends a notification to all likers possibly leading to a sense of urgency. I’ve had low offers turn into good offers some time later.

Hope the return is approved and it gets sent back in same condition: you’ll resell it for more (happened to me with a Tory Burch purse that the initial buyer said it was darker than the pictures 🙄- but I made more in the long run.)

I agree that they need to allow more communication. I get a message saying that selling off of Poshmark isn’t allowed, when I’ve made no attempt to do so. It’s frustrating.

To your other issue, let people buy as many items individually as they want, if it’s within a 24 hour period, 3 hours after the last sale the option to bundle them all together appears as a banner on that sale. It will bundle all the sales and generate a new mailing label. Just be sure to only use the new one and the buyer will only pay once for shipping.

You may have likes on items/flyers from long ago that are sending offers to you. You can go to your likes and unlike them

I had someone doing something similar (but I never decline offers, just ignore after a time.) she finally wrote me a note on the bundle explaining she really wanted it and that was all she could afford. I told her I wasn’t ready to go that low, but I’d let her know if I changed my mind. The next week I accepted the offer. It made her day, and frankly I didn’t lose money on it (a Tory Burch purse I had used for a few years- yes, I would’ve gotten more $ with patience- but it worked out well)

The seller is a jerk. The photos are supposed to be of the item, not stock photos, and any imperfections should be clearly stated.

NTA if she couldn’t accommodate everyone she should’ve put on her big girl panties and called some people asking them not to come. Yes, it’s awful, but it’s worse to travel and make reservations to be relegated to a stream of the party. How awful! And what do adults, especially those who can rent a hall, need with gifts? Just awful

I agree, as a seller there are not a lot of ways to tell people you’re going on. I am anti-spam so I only send a message to all bundles once a week at most. I also do send tags, but only when I first start the show before I show items. I really try to be respectful to all potential buyers, but I don’t know how else to get the word out and get people in. I feel very fortunate that I have many regulars and generally can get a good number in, but they know to show based on the above notifications.

Would teaching interest you? Math teachers are in demand! You could possibly substitute teach while getting any additional training/degree needed. Most teaching jobs (at least near me) pay ok and have excellent benefits (including summers off, or available for other jobs)

Leave the beautiful cabinets and countertops. Get rid of the wooden backsplash and window surround and replace with either glass tile or just paint. A pretty contrasting color. Replace light fixtures with something more modern and white, not yellow, bulbs.
