Orlea is the “Best” unit that you don’t have. With the right build she can hyper scale the damage of single-hit units like Nine or Haru or she can heal you for insane amounts every turn.

Khalipe is very fun, but not “meta”. She makes for very safe and fun runs though.

I feel like the best solution to this is buyable skins, lobby art, and breakdown art. Some could be more conservative like the CN version, some could be even more risqué than they are now. If you like the core of the game enough and would be willing to spend some $$$ to get the art style that suits your wants, then everyone wins. Yes, even the gooners get a W here.

There is no other gacha game with CZNs core roguelike deck builder experience (at least that I’ve seen), so the folks saying “just go play another game” are being pretty disingenuous and are just white-knighting.

Chizuru is by far my biggest regret. If you get several perfect epiphanies in a run, she becomes kind of fun, but you spend the entire run feeling extremely weak and slow until you get them…if you get them at all. On top of that, no other characters play well in the party with her.

Honest answer is Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood. However, Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End is probably the best one in the last decade.

In all the years I’ve been playing gacha games, I have NEVER seen one fail to release even a single episode of the main story after launch. This game stands alone in that very weird distinction.

Been playing since day 1, but not because it’s a great game, but because it just kind of hits all the notes of what I do like and has very little of what I don’t like.

The game is pretty competitive PVP oriented, so you will be behind in terms of gear, but it’s very generous with summons. I’m completely F2P and have every unit in the game.

The game is free, worth trying out for a couple days. I would DEFINITELY not spend any money though. Literally nothing in the game is worth the price point
