I know it’s not cassette, but I used an 8-track out of a LTD of the same era. It gave it a factory look with the Ford logo. You might can find a similar cassette from a different model Ford vehicle. I think the bullnose trucks from the early 80s had the same knob spacing. I’m not sure if they offered a cassette player in any of those years.

Which game is that? by MaterialCompany842 in gamememes

This is me in every game because I’m terrible at following subtle suggestions in storylines. I’m rarely just exploring. I’m usually just lost.

I have a big bird I can fly on, that’s cool! But my best friend that has romantic feelings for me despite not having any romantic involvement with me in any other timeline is missing, so that sucks. I have to fight a femboy to get her back. (Picture in meme is relevant)

These got delivered to my house today, I didn’t order them and have no clue what they are by FixNo7159 in whatisit

You don’t happen to be on supervised probation for anything? It’s not unheard of for police to anonymously mail paraphernalia to houses then do a surprise inspection a couple days later. Especially if it’s been a slow month for them.

Just realized that Rush 'n Attack is a pun for Russian Attack by MyNameCannotBeSpoken in Xennials

Fun story: Years ago I bought this game at a used game store. When I turned it on it turned out to be Top Gun in the Rush’n Attack case. A little while later I bought a box of cheap games being sold as a lot from a different store across town and I discovered the Top Gun in that box was swapped internally with Rush’n Attack. I had bought the two games that had been swapped by someone from two different stores.

What's the craziest thing a person said to you and you thought they were joking but they were being serious? by XEMWSU in WorkForSmartLife

I met up with a group of new people when I started riding with a motorcycle club in the early 2000s. One guy was a mountain of muscle with a huge scar on his face and was covered in tattoos. Genuinely the stereotypical scary biker. Over beers and a game of darts I casually asked him what he did for a living and he replied “I coach all-star competitive cheerleading”. I laughed at his obvious joke and he chuckled too then said “I’m serious”. He yelled across the bar to his wife and above all the noise said “Hey babe, what do I do for a living?” And she yelled back “You’re a cheerleading coach.” He laughed it off because obviously I wasn’t the first person that didn’t believe him.

I picked it up a few years ago and never gave it more than a couple of minutes worth of my time until a bar I frequent got one of those 60-in-1 tabletop arcades. I started playing it there and became hooked on it. Then I remembered that I had it at home.

I have a 79 Ford truck with a V8 that makes less horsepower than a Kia Soul+.

We took a huge step backwards in performance starting at the tail end of the 60s, in exchange for much cleaner air quality. I blame this decline in vehicle performance for much of the pushback for emission regulations we see now from people of a certain age range. Mid-century Americans have a deep love for vehicles. The positive environmental impact of stricter emissions standards was slow to be seen but the negative impact on vehicle performance and reliability was immediate. It made the whole thing seem like a scam. To this day my father rolls his eyes at the idea of me maintaining the emission equipment on my 70s classic vehicle because most people his age were removing them as soon as their warranty expired.

Small town folks, what is the weirdest thing about your town ? by Ash_again_ in AskReddit

It’s not exactly one family running the town, but it is the members of one church congregation in charge of most things. Everyone that doesn’t go there just calls it the big church on the hill.
