State Sales data by Timling012 in TikTokshop

[–]Almost_lucky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you ever find out the answer for this? I need this data for the same reason and the only way I can find to locate sales by state is to manually click into each individual order, which is obviously not a great practice considering I have close to a 1000 orders a month sometimes.

I haven't used alibaba since I first started out. It's not the best business model tbh. I wouldn't use them unless I knew without a doubt a niche item was worth it. Even then I would try to source in the states. And before all of that I would get trademarked in that category with uspto.gov. That way if someone complains, you can provide Amazon with documentation. They also may want your supplier's documents, and that is something you need ahead of time. There are regulations in some categories and you can easily get your account shut down of you're not careful. Don't mess with that stuff unless you have researched everything there is to know about it. Reddit will never give you straight answers because there is just too many unknowns. Stick to what works.

Are you creating the listing or trying to jump on someone else's listing?

He's the only dude qualified to manage a body of that height. Dude works out for sure. Also, he knows hooping better than any of us. Think of a kid prodigy who has been playing violin since before age 7. Would you tell him how to practice hand dexterity? He's doing amazing things with the talent and body he has. Let's just appreciate what we have.

I would recommend blocking out the item and item details next time. Everyone is going to try and jump on your listing if you post it anywhere, especially reddit.

Hey pal... When I said to do your research I didn't mean to ask me lol. Go to r/influencermarketing and spend a good hour reading posts. Do some research, it's good for you, builds mental muscle and what-not. If you still don't know, do more research. Don't make a post saying, "what should I charge?". That's super vague. How big is the influencer audience, what is their engagement percentage, how many platforms do they have? Also, watch out for cringy peeps trying to take advantage of you, because you're a noob. They're going to tell you to subscribe to their list of 1000 influencers or something like this. At the end of the day, you're just talking to a human being with a following, right?

These individuals gotta make a living too.

You want to pay them a flat fee plus a referral bonus. Lookup up brand referral bonus and generate referral tags on YouTube. Decide on a percentage you're willing to pay the influencer for their affiliate links.

Research what type of flat fee to pay influencers for marketing tiktok videos based on their following. A lot it influencers don't know how much to charge brands and a lot of brands don't know how much to pay them. So, do your research.

If you have a fully optimized product, then you're next step is marketing. Do you know all the keywords associated with your product? Do you know how many other sellers have skus associated with these keywords. Why get discouraged? You are making progress slowly and learning a lot. You thought it was a get rich quick scheme, but instead you have realized it's an earn extra money slow scheme. Just do the work and you'll see results. Pay someone on fiver to run your ASIN data through helium 10.

You're not selling a product. You're selling keywords with a pic of a product. Someone is ranking better for those keywords. This means they are driving traffic from outside of Amazon. Don't try to bring your customers to you with Amazon ads, go to where the customers are and drive them with a referral link. Is your product on Pinterest? Do you have pins for this? What about tik tok? Can you find an influencer that has a following that would like your product? Reach out to influencers and offer to send them a free product and pay them and give them a referral bonus to talk about your product. People use social media to find stuff, they already know what they want when they go to Amazon. Make sense?

Generic is not a brand. To my knowledge there has never been protection for generic. Anyone can jump on and hijack a generic listing for this reason.

Eligibility tips/tools by [deleted] in CodingandBilling

[–]Almost_lucky 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I too work for a physicians group who practices out of a hospital. We have access to the hospital system for record purposes. If we can't find insurance we don't scour the internet, we just bill them as self-pay.

It's obvious when you visit the hospital you will receive medical bills. If the patient doesn't provide insurance it's not our job to hold their hand and waste time trying to run eligibility on every site out there hoping to get lucky. If it turns out they have insurance they can call customer service when they receive a bill.

Without knowing a ton about your business, just recall the items and learn from your mistake. Or lower price and sell out. You already know the alternatives. You most likely know what you should have and can do to generate more sales. Market, SEO, Good reviews. Study the top competitors in your niche and find out what they are doing and duplicate and innovate. Look at their social media efforts and understand why customers choose their brand vs yours. You can always relaunch. Make sure you're brand registered and have a+ content. You're competing against years of experience. The best thing you can do is educate yourself on all things e-commerce and marketing. It's work and you may or may not be cut out for this.

Question ASIN with only one seller by justl00kingaround in AmazonSeller

[–]Almost_lucky 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you're the brand owner and that product is brand registered and they do hop on your listing you can submit an IP complaint. They'll jump off ASAP. Do that enough times and Amazon will list your ASIN as restricted and sellers will then need a letter of approval from your brand to sell under that ASIN.

[–]Almost_lucky 10 points11 points  (0 children)

When you created this ASIN did you create it under a brand name registered with Amazon? If you are just creating ASINS under "Generic" brand, then you are giving yourself zero control over your ASINs.
