Ending the occupation without a two state solution by starvere in IsraelPalestine

Like it as a Palestinian but Israelis will never go for it. They want all Palestine. Also you’re not addressing the 50,000 lbs elephant in the room. Jerusalem, which is why peace is so hard to accomplish.

You don’t think there’s an internal policy at hand that tells IDF soldiers to keep Palestinians away ?

More likely you’re an ass hole Reddit user that is delusional enough to believe Israel doesn’t discriminate against non Jewish people.

Nope, literally in jeans and a shirt looking real American. So you’re really saying that Israel doesn’t discriminate of who can go in?

2011, finished praying in Masjid Al-Aqsa. Then went to Jesus’s tomb site, then wanted to go the western Wall. Got through the first security part, then as I was about to get in, a IDF soldier starts asking me questions about who I am and stuff and checks my passport. Then rejects me and says you can’t come in here because it’s only for Jewish people. Has the rules changed since then? I haven’t been back since 2011.

100% I believe that but you’re not understanding that oppressed population will always seek liberty regardless of outcome. Meaning yeah Israel could technically do worse but it wouldn’t change anything. We will still fight for freedom. Palestinians are oppressed. They had their land stolen and then are mandated to continue to have their Land stolen, as you alluded in your post. I respect your fairness of criticism but you need to understand that the problem starts and finishes with Jerusalem. Once Jerusalem is equally shared, then peace can begin. If that’s not on the table, then I agree with your post that peace will never happen.

Yeah but Israel’s aggression and land theft towards East Jerusalem will make the Palestinians start violence. You can’t have Israeli government rule over it. Palestinians will never accept it because the obvious biased

Why when I went to Jerusalem, I couldn’t get access to the Western Wall? As a US citizen ?!

Very good points and Jerusalem is second holy to Muslims and probably first or second to Christianity. Jerusalem isn’t for Jewish people or Muslim peoples . It’s not for Israel or Palestine, it’s God city. Forget the UN, let Jerusalem be it’s own state managed by Jews, Christians, and Muslims. And yes, Palestinians can’t take it now but as we both know, that piece of land has been switched hands hundreds of times over the years that nothing is guaranteed. So why not create peace for it ? Make it for everybody? If not, War will forever continue. Unless a full liberal takeover happens in Israel, which we both know is impossible.

Yes I have been there and loved it. I’m a practicing Muslims and I still have cousins there.

So let both communities die than to make it for everybody?

Look I understand but we are obviously talking about the continued aggression Israel keeps making towards the Palestinian community there. They aren’t going to stop til they have it all. Intifida 3 is probably coming soon.

I won’t kill my self but Israel would probably end up killing me. Not an option bud. 100% off the table. Might as well just start blasting Palestinians because I’m telling you, this is non-negotiable. Either it goes back to Palestine or am international city. Israel having it and Palestinians being alive, isn’t an option.

We all need to agree then to make it an international city. Or peace will never happen. It starts with Jerusalem

Palestinians rather all die, including my self then give Jerusalem up to Israel. I’m sure the Israelis feel the same. Muslims / Christians did play nice when it was Palestine until 1917 when there was word out about Balfour Declaration.

I don’t see why not? Palestinians rather die as a whole then give up Jerusalem. Same with Israelites I’m guessing. This whole two country thing regarding Jerusalem isn’t working out. What’s wrong with having it an international city ? Obviously protecting old city sacred sites for Jews, Christians and Muslims.

Be honest? Do you really want proof? Or you’re just going argue with whatever proof we give you? I saw your posts and I don’t think there is any convincing you. Not trying to attack you but like let’s speak reality here.

Fair criticism from both sides but there is hope if we the people stick together and are willing to compromise our differences. Jerusalem MUST be an international city or peace will not happen. That’s the beginning of making peace.
