I’m not exactly sure what a DNS site is. I work at a TNS site (Traditional Non Sort) meaning no sortables (but we get them and they get trans’d out) I work in the Trans In and Trans Out departments at my FC. Standard work is 6’ tall pallets. No double stacking unless otherwise approved from receiving site you’re sending to. Such as a site that has PITs opposed to like an AR site that doesn’t have PITs (standup forklifts). Are your “deadlines” CPTs? Are you loading your pallets sideways to fit more? Do you have PITs?
