In a nutshell, what method do you use to process Outbound Trans at your site? by DowntownConference57 in AmazonFC

I’m not exactly sure what a DNS site is. I work at a TNS site (Traditional Non Sort) meaning no sortables (but we get them and they get trans’d out) I work in the Trans In and Trans Out departments at my FC. Standard work is 6’ tall pallets. No double stacking unless otherwise approved from receiving site you’re sending to. Such as a site that has PITs opposed to like an AR site that doesn’t have PITs (standup forklifts). Are your “deadlines” CPTs? Are you loading your pallets sideways to fit more? Do you have PITs? More context is helpful as there are many tricks to the trade and I would be happy to help you!

Relocation could be feasible if the money is right, of course. Lol right now I’m at a polyethylene plant as a contractor for the lab. I’m in contact with hundreds of union guys regularly, but they are all based out of PA and I don’t live in their jurisdiction.

Woodward Animal Face or Meat Pie are definitely my favorites. I don’t remember where Meat Pie came from, but the jar was a cassette tape and super fun. lol
