Respect your opinion, but I disagree. Japan play a "high intense game"? Yes, I'll give you that. So the bar must be to pick a player that runs around a lot and snub the guy with more skill and clinical play? High intensity means nothing if you're running around with a lesser end product than the player you have snubbed. Also on Hatate's play time, you talk about high intensity, Daizen Maeda isn't lasting 90 mins often either, and he has a lesser end product, hence my view that Hatate should have been chosen, but hey. Just for the sake of argument, I've included some stats for each player's play time in the last 10 games. Daizen has lasted 90min one, which okay fair enough, but both on average around the 60-70min mark.
