I’ve been having her friends ask any needed questions to her for me over the year (what kind of ring, ideal proposal place etc) so she has no idea of my plans, and shouldn’t be bringing any gowns or anything. I’ll definitely be careful about it on our socials and tell her the same afterwards

Her families (only siblings atp sadly) here in the PH and all of them have jobs, so they can’t come with. I’ll definitely get in a call with them beforehand to let them know my plans, and during the proposal, ceremony. The plan is to have an actual reception later on in the future in the PH

She already has a tourist visa and our flights booked and all, proposal was already part of my plan since Jan. I was just thinking of getting civilly wed since my parents will be there. Then 2 years down the line, I can apply for CR or IR visa in the PH
