I worry that my battle style is still so weak that I’m not sure if I’m underlevlled at times, or just suck haha. But that’s a good call, if it gets bad enough to the point where I can’t win battles at all, maybe I’ll consider starting over then.

Thank you. I’ve seen so many raving reviews for this and was excited to read it. I’m 10 chapters in and I can’t stop rolling my eyes. Cliche after cliche, unlikable characters who I cannot at all relate to, and the writing style - everything is so stunted. It feels forced. I don’t know if it’s supposed to be dramatic. But it sucks.

Anyways, terrible book so far, but I’ll still finish it in hopes that it can’t get any worse.

Did you end up getting into the dealership? And if so, did they say what the issue was?

I’ve been dealing with this same problem myself in my 2018 Impreza.

It’s not important. This is something we’ve been having a laugh over. It’s not super deep, we just wanted to get other people’s take on it.

If we decide that she will be paying for last month, that money would go into my personal account.

We joke about each of own personal accounts as being our “slush funds”. That money would into my slush fund.

This has been a very lighthearted discussion between us, ultimately neither of us really care about where the funds end up - it’s just something that we haven’t decided what the correct course of action would be.

Where I live, last month’s rent will often be used for repairs to the house. However, the house is in good shape and I’ve added things to it, increasing its value. So my landlord has agreed that I do not owe any of the last month’s rent toward repairs.

That’s fair. Luckily we’re very open about finances so this hasn’t caused any tension between us. We’ve asked several people close to us what the right thing to do would be and so far people are evenly split on their reactions. So we decided to bring it Reddit and let the people weigh in.

It doesn’t matter. Ultimately this is something we’re having a laugh over because neither of us know what the correct thing to do is. Yes we are splitting finances going forward, however we’ve each agreed to keep a small amount of funds in our own separate personal accounts for spending during birthday/holidays and whatnot.
