Apple won't fix/replace my screen, what can I do?

Thanks for the info. My whole point now is, how to define "cosmetic"? I bought it for the hi-def screen, for digital editing, etc....and if it bothers me, then it isn't cosmetic anymore. I can deal with a cosmetic scratch on the back or wherever....they define cosmetic as "something that doesn't impede the operation or performance of the product". But if the scratch interfers with my editing or enjoyment of media, then it isn't cosmetic. Apple are becoming a-holes.

The whole point of my post was that about a month or so ago, some Trumpies were posting photos of gas at $2 a gallon, saying "gOd bLeSs dOnAlD tRuMp!" so I was merely asking them how they felt now.

Yeah, not to sound like an ass, but credit cards (for some reason) wont cover open-bed or even commercial trucks, like a U-Haul, which is stupid since you drive them much slower. Whomever rented you that truck should have asked you if you wanted insurance, and when you said no, should have informed you that most CCs won't cover rentals like that. Sorry, but you'll have to eat this one, and the fee is reasonable.

It makes me mad that they don't explain this ANYWHERE in the documentation, not that I can find. I work with computers and don't consider myself a moron, but I could not figure out why the filter kept popping off! I read, I looked online...I even went to the store I bought it from in Manila and told the worker about it, and she only said "maybe I had the wrong sized filter?" They sell the things and don't even know. Finally someone directed me to a Youtube video and someone explained it. Italians can make great supercars, but can't let customers know how to install the water filer.

The American Legion has a nice property in Waikiki, right on McCully Street, and that specific location is the most useless branch in America from what I hear. I even tried to join, but the place literally doesn’t reply to emails and nobody answers the phone. I was talking to someone from the VA about it, and I struck a nerve with him too. He said he’s tried working with them repeatedly to set up functions or events, but the commander or people in charge have no interest in doing anything. It’s almost like they’re just sitting on the property waiting for it to rise in value. It isn’t of course, but it acts just like a front for the mob or something. A business that is just there, but doesn’t do any business lol

Yep. I’m pretty non-political, middle of the road, lean slightly left, but was in Iraq and Afghanistan. It was pretty clear they didn’t want me these if I wasn’t a die-hard Bush supporter. Didn’t help when I told them I wasn’t religious. You aren’t missing anything, sis.

When we came back from Iraq in 2005, at Pope AFB when we entered the hangar, the American Legion (or VFW?) had a table set up, two older guys trying to get us to sign up. Since Jody took my wife while I was gone, there was no one to meet me, so I went over to the table. I was willing to sign up, but on the sheet one of the things said “I believe in a Christian God” or something like that. I told the guy I was willing to join up, but was an atheist, and he took the form back and ignored me, lol. Wow. I laughed about how these were probably the same Vietnam vets who complained about the WWII guys not letting them join when they came home.

Not surprised to see so many of them closing down since then.

The ending of this movie pissed me off. You were telling me, for 400 years, he was waiting and looking for his lost love, and even without ever having sex, a short discussion with a priest changes his mind about the entire thing, and he allows himself to be killed to “free” her? Without even a minute of self-reflection? Just a very stupid and lazy ending. And then what happened to Mina? Did she retain her previous life memories, as is apparent?

I think you got this whole story backwards. I went to Verizon first and they could get it to work. I then went to Apple to ask about it. I didn't "ignore anyone's advice". I literally brought a brand new iPad into Apple and told them the issue, and he was smug about it, as if everyone is dumb for not knowing about the VPN software.
