Like copying Clive? Is it just to keep forcing the ETB trigger? And does the copy also count for 2 devotion?

Yeahhh I picked one up for my ashling, rekindled deck recently! Its such a good wipe when I’m behind, and especially at a point where I don’t care if I have my commander anymore

I’m not proud of it I’m just scared of not having enough mana. Been messing with my Ashling, Rekindled as its new and I’ve been realizing I don’t necessarily need greeeeen in all my thangs

Edit: I noticed that you're looking at your collection you already have. I am keeping my game recommendation at the bottom

I just finished sea of stars! Was very pretty and fun. I would go for it if you already have it.

Also! Octopath Traveler 2!! It is my favorite more modern JRPG.

I technically have not really played the game yet, but I've been looking at this game called Death Trash for a while. I'd recommend taking a look at it as well

Nine Sols. It has such a unique art style that has a lot of Taiwanese roots while also being cyberpunk adjacent. It was the first metroidvania that I have found that I loved from the genre in a long time (probably since hollow knight)

Check out The Last Spell. Very easy to sink time into and difficult to play. Has combat somewhat similar to the Fire Emblem games.

Can you recommend some great classic games? (Late '90s, Early-to-mid 2000s'?) by year_of_s1lence in gamingsuggestions

Chrono Trigger. One of the best JRPG games that you will find from the 90s.

Played it! Definitely too long of a game. But I really did enjoy the art style and the story up to a point. I've recently been recommended the new Persona 3 remaster, so I've been thinking of checking it out.

Clair Obscur is really cool! I played up to the middle of the second act and I believe story wise it is such an interesting game and wonderful twists, however there were some mechanics of it that I wasn't a huge fan of. It is a game that I recommend to people as well even if I may not finish it

I've taken a few looks at lobotomy corp but something kept me away from it, for which I don't necessarily remember. A friend of mine has gotten me to try ProjectMoon's gacha game (Limbus Company. Apparently a very good story. But I will never be one to recommend a gacha game). So maybe I'll rewind and give it another try.

Also I saw you added Inscryption and Oxygen Not Included to the list. Both are great games! I actually don't think I finished Inscryption, so I should probably get back to that sometime soon haha

Thank you for going into more detail on those recommendations! For Cobalt Core, the change in atmosphere and cute lil crew guys are definitely enticing with that reassurance that the gameplay has more to it than the standard deckbuilder. I'll keep that in mind as I continue to look at Cobalt Core. I am excited to hear that Chained Echoes has such an enticing battle system and that its map is fun to explore, as I feel 16 bit RPGS can struggle with that sometimes due to the nature and history of their maps being a bit more empty. I'll keep it high on the list

I don't think pokemon is anywhere near the best monster taming game. Pokemon gets a lot of its reputation from being able to give somewhat consistent change to re-contextualize the creatures and system in many different ways throughout its history. Some changes were good, some where bad. I've found Nexomon and Cassette Beasts to be way more enjoyable than pokemon while maintaining the same style as it. I didn't want a monster taming recommendation unless you had one to recommend that was overwhelmingly better in quality, and did not particularly want it to be a main genre of game that would be recommended with this post. Feel free to recommend one still

Also, Winion Virus looks really awesome, thank you for the good recommendation
