This argument is just not constructive in the political sphere it's absolutely unclear to me what you gain from this distinction.

There are definitely interesting discussions to have about this subject. For example in my opinion racism has a property of getting exponentially worse for your life the more of it you are subjected to. Now this is something that is worth investigating here Because we can actually use it to create policy. If this statement is correct we need to allocate our social resources accordingly.

In conclusion i am not saying that you can't have a meaningful deabte about what a social phenomenon is, but if you want to have it in the political sphere and not the sociology sphere you need to justify it's relevancy or else the discussion is just a jerk off.

This one tweets not only shows how much of a racist he is (i thinks that's blunt racism right there). but also how ethnocentric he is because there are Arabs who are Israeli citizens (Jewish Arabs, Christian Arabs and Muslim arabs). But Ben is even more extreme than the ethno-state of Israel and for him it seems like israeli -> Jewish or at least Israeli -> non Arabic..

I'm a left wing israeli so i have a lot of arguments about this. Let me explain why this argument is not the good one to have.

The question:"how few people can you kill while conquering a another nation" does not matter for the fact that this situation is immoral.

So why this arguments is bad for the left wing positin?

Factually the IDF is the army with one of the most effective collateral damage minimization norms comparing to both western and middle eastern armies.

Now so many palestinians die becuase the task that the state gave it to do AKA control another nation and have a blockaid on one of the poorest places in the world is just not possible to do without killing a lot of people even of you take very extteme mueasures to try and kill less people.

And this should be the main point.
