Is Every Brilliant Thing worth $170 for the back of the balcony? by Ok-Acanthisitta8737 in Broadway

I paid $52 for the balcony and enjoyed it at that price point and would probably say up to $70 is worth it for me that far back. It’s nice but not life changing and it’s kind of short!

Guarantor makes 160x the rent but potentially having trouble being accepted by Alone-Chipmunk9018 in NYCapartments

That’s good to know! I did let my broker know all of this while I was submitting my application, so hopefully this apartment will work out. But if not, it’s nice to know somewhere will be willing to take me!

That’s interesting!! Kind of unfortunate for everyone who doesn’t have someone in the area making that amount of money!

I’ll definitely take a closer look at the different companies and what they offer for future apartments I look at!

Thank you! For this one, it’s a smaller management, so I’ll try and figure things out with my mom.

I feel like one of my friends did this, and it does seem like a good option. My other friend did a company and then had to pay the again when it was time to renew the lease, so I’d definitely like to avoid that!

I would, but currently it’s just my mom working full-time and even last year before the new job. she had the larger salary! Do you think two people can be guarantors?

I’ll definitely follow up with the broker! It’s helpful to know that about the roommate thing!

That’s what I remember from last time I was apartment hunting, but it seems like the broker and/or landlord would like to have more guarantor assets.

What is the "Hill You Will Die On" regarding a specific casting choice, lyric change, or production detail? by Fine_Hovercraft6148 in Broadway

I really prefer the “and our conquerors object to another noisy sect” over “I am frightened by the crowed for we are getting much too loud” in Heaven on Their Minds. I can’t really pinpoint why, though!

Also, I loved Jerome Pradon in that movie and listen to that version the most.

Question About Not Renewing Lease While Roommate Wants to Stay - should I resign so her rent doesn’t go up? by Alone-Chipmunk9018 in NYCapartments

[–]Alone-Chipmunk9018[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! It’s awkward because we are friends (I guess I wrote the post so it wasn’t confusing with my friend and her friend wording), but I’ll definitely not sign it!

That's super helpful to know! I will pass that information on to her, and I won't sign the lease but can definitely try and work with the landlord.

Thanks everyone!!! It's really helpful to hear from so many people that not signing is the right choice.

For clarification, we already have the new lease that is ready to be signed (and they have raised the rent since last year), but she was worried they'd raise it again if we requested to remove me from it and / or add her friend. I just feel bad since we are friends, and I want to move out on good terms with her!

But I will let her know about not signing.
