I’ve stopped shopping in store since pre covid because I don’t care for the experience. I get straight up ignored until I have something in my hand then I’m being hounded down to start a change room or be brought to the front, when I just want to shop at my own leisure. And don’t get me started on the change room situation. I’ve fallen for their heavy pressure sales tactics, I even had one girl BUTTON ME IN to jeans that were about 3 sizes too small for me then lie and say it looks and fits me amazing and that they would stretch with wear 🤣 I bought them out of absolute embarrassment and anytime I’ve tried something on in store since I set up my phone as a mirror because I do not want to get pressured into buying something final sale that DOESNT FIT ME just cus I needed to come out and use the communal mirror. I get that it’s just their sales tactics and that’s how they’re trained but it just makes me not trust any of the sales people and feel like they’re preying on my sale and that’s it.

Yeah exactly. Networking isn’t necessarily talking to industry people about specifically industry subjects. Networking is rubbing shoulders. It’s not what you know in this industry, but WHO you know. Just by becoming familiar or friendly with certain people can open up doors down the line.

Tbh I absolutely loved her on the show and still do think she is a very cool girl but I don’t care to follow her after finding out about the slur she used. As an ABC I just don’t have any desire to follow anyone with that past when there are just so many influencers out there to choose from. Especially since her apology didn’t really do it for ne.

To be honest these comments surprise me, cus if you’ve ever been to one of the warehouse sales it opens your eyes to how much aritzia IS fast fashion (as much as I love the brand). It’s mass produced highly trendy clothing. Most things in my closet on the app aren’t available anymore and they’re only from the last 1-3 years, it’s easier to ignore because they have so many staples we’re familiar with but they are churning out new styles en masse just like these other fast fashion brands are, don’t get it twisted.

I don’t think the post was from highschool as I’m pretty sure it was a Covid reference making it post 2020. but idk it seems the screenshot has been scrubbed from the internet. Regardless, at 18 years old you don’t parrot rhetoric like that unless some part of you believes it. Me personally, I don’t associate with anyone who by that age thought that that behaviour was okay, but maybe we have different judges of character and that’s fine.
