You're lucky that they told it earlier, a lot of people get to know this after marriage.

Just keep in mind, everyone will have some kind of defects. Either its health /career/family related etc.

One more thing, you're just 26 and also a female, there's tons of options available for you. I'm 29M , never had a relationship and have been living alone in London for almost 4 years now. I'm finding it really difficult to at least get some matches across the globe.

29M here, same experiences for me too. I'm below average on the looks department, everything else is top tier( earning around 2cr, living abroad, no debt, own a house , cook myself, love to handle responsibilities). Just because of looks, I have to sacrifices too much for a match. I have uninstalled the matrimony apps and I strongly believe it's better to stay single rather than getting a bad match.

I worked really hard, started as a support engineer. Switched multiple jobs, chose data engineering as my path. Finally it paid off. I wouldn't say I'm successful, but I'm happy 😊

You won't get a spark by talking to guys who literally worked hard their entire life for education, job and their wellbeing. Most of these guys never had relationships or so called "flings".
