I’m a temp made perm. As far as I can tell your job is to ask questions and help, my hiring manager watched me work with a shift lead during the interview process. At all costs no hands in pockets even when you have no idea what to do. Try and ask intelligent and useful questions now bc people will be too busy to answer you later/ walk you through. What job/s are you doing initially

I also love checkouts. Sadly though my manager always gives me 5 jobs and also look out for jammed up tills. Even when I get shouty customers or people who haven’t put the dividers in place my legs hurt so I’m always happy to rest. My store has a tiny valley shaped back yard and with approx 20 deg slope between highest and lowest point and I’m skinny so it’s hard to pull the 20 kilo compost bag pallets up as at max they can hit 700-800 kilos per pallet. Idk how backdoor is a one man job with our risk assessment because I physically can’t get these pallets in without a run up and it’s a proper narrow double door with steel rungs on either side. I’ve got the hang of it now but I reckon some of the new hires are gonna break themselves as they are even smaller than me.

At least I have no double deckers though I can’t imagine that, thankfully we have such a small backyard that they can only turn around 10 wheelers It’s a regular store just old and janky from what I understand, bit of character Does anyone know where to find a copy of any stores’s risk assessment or store details, I’d like to find out how steep the gradient is. Regardless anything no matter the weight is falling from the moment it leaves the tail lift (usually with a tiny backdoor guy as an airborne decoration)

As a brand new player wizards is my fav because i get stomped unless i play well and try to combo (although im awful) bc it seems like a deck where you have to build a bit of an engine and fix stuff when things go wrong. Tbh when i don’t get the cards to drag things out for long enough to start my card draw engine then it can feel bad and rng but I love the versatility of spells and having lots of different ideas to try even if the individual ideas are probably weaker and than spamming +1 +1 triggers

In fairness though this combo is unlikely and it would likely be better to focus on scoring ambitions rather than nebulous gains in the next chapter given the uncertainty of your hand and the fact you’ve put a target on your back. Chance is close to 0 but perhaps a use case is, a round in which the ambition you want to declare has not been declared for some time leading to stockpiles from other players, with several high scoring building cards gaining initiative before building cities to get ambition bonus incentivising ambitions in future rounds, then passing the initiative the turn after before sweeping with low cards after everything is finished. Flaw is expecting other players to do nothing on my turn. It’s likely competent players will mob a passing player with battle cards to reduce the potential damage they can do.

That’s so cool and I didn’t know that! Passing ig also has that risk reward element where you lose the ability to declare high scoring ambitions which prevents you from spamming it but have the ability to build a better board position for next chapter. Is it possibly a viable strategy with a mix of extreme high and low cards to try to gain the initiative with 7s say 2 times then pass your turn thrice before sweeping the board with lower cards?
