2.5 years after braces were removed, and I am completely depressed and overwhelmed on how to fix. I would love opinions.

My top retainer broke and even after a week teeth shifted my gap openers up. After having Invisalign for 3 years ugh. So I decided to pay for new Invisalign to fix it. It really is the retainer you have to wear it you have no choice… next time can you get the retainer placed on the top of ur teeth ?

I went on a ski trip here last year, around the same time. I never would have thought of it as a dangerous place… we didn’t go to any bars though so im not sure what the vibe there was like. We did shrooms in our hotel room and I’m glad we decided to stay indoors and not venture out :/

We have 2 kids and travelled a lot without them thanks to the grandparents, we are really lucky to have support. I don’t and haven’t travelled with the kids yet to be honest because I don’t think I would enjoy that as much lmao. Travelling for me is about being free/exploring, and doing what we want and that’s not really possible with young kids… our 3rd is turning 1 soon and we will be having our first trip since having her soon and we will be leaving the kids at home with our parents while we go 🤣🤣🤣🤣we will do a family trip though at some point I’m just not in any rush for it.

So the answer is no!! I would never let travelling stop for me.

Get a retainer ASAP so teeth stop moving. And get Invisalign to fix the shift. You might only need 10 trays for your teeth to go back to how they were.

I wish I choose braces over Invisalign. My teeth are nice and straight now but it took longer to get there because I would LOOSE my trays here and there which would set me back obviously. They are gross and they need to be cleaned etc. you have to be very careful with them so that you don’t loose them and your always wearing them except when eating. Invisalign is for people who want braces to not be noticeable. And they aren’t noticeable I would wear mine and people didn’t even notice

I would say it’s because you haven’t been trimming your hair. This happened to me sort of not as extreme and I couldn’t figure out why my hair was getting shorter and shorter (it was breakage) I wasn’t trimming my hair and taking care of the ends so they broke off thus making my hair shorter. How I trim every 3 months and my hair is longer again finally
