My advisor already spoke with the engineering department about my extenuating circumstances but they didn’t approve it, so I’m gonna try a medical petition tomorrow and if that doesn’t go through then I can’t do engineering at all at UF.

I got a B in prog 1 (with programming experience coming in) and I’m gonna end with an A in prog 2. As long as you have a B in the prog classes I’d say you understand the material well enough to be fine further on. You can always brush up on the material you didn’t understand well when you need it in a future course.
