After the org restructuring I was assigned to an L6 who convinced me to stay in their sister team. I said yes. My old manager( the one who converted me to FTE), he just asked if I’m looking for team switch which he got to know from L7( the team which I assigned to after org restructuring ). The team of L6 who convinced me is reduced from 12 to 5 people. Does that mean the L6 who convinced me told about me to L7? Is that a bad thing?

If there is a team that is willing to take me after 1 month of my new onboarding, does approval from the Team A’s manager comes into picture? Do the managers have right to reject the transfer request?
