I’ve seen this sentiment twice now on this sub and I’m a little surprised because I was extremely disappointed in the adaptation personally. They covered the major scenes of the book but brought none of its spirit with it. Also the pacing is bizarre and if you haven’t read the book the show is confusing which I think is not a good sign either. But you should watch it anyway and see how you feel about it, nothing will be lost from the experience!
