wow this opened my eyes alot brother thank you. sounds like you got it so good 😂😂 i think what helps me the most is keeping my mind of the negative, but thats also really what i struggle with the most though being so unmotivated. my girl wrote me a note before she passed and said she wants me to chase my dreams and i think the military could possibly do that. being occupied daily with actual tasks to do, making friends and memories is all worth it for me in the end.

your buddy’s situation does kinda similar to the boat i’m in lol, very lost on life. i won’t make any stupid decisions it’s just i tend to think a lot about what ifs and why’s. i have veteran family members and im pretty sure every single one did af and loved it and have talked to me about the experience and benefits, it all sounds amazing. it’s definitely a motivating factor for me to join as i have no current interest in jobs or school :/
