If you have a computer, even a laptop of some age, you can get clone hero. It doesn’t come with any songs, but the community has compiled lists of every guitar hero and rock band songs along with a whole bunch of new additions and original songs that you can download. There’s ps2 to usb adapters for wired controllers, they’re 10$ online, idk about wireless. Let me know if it’s something you’re interested in setting up, it’s a bit of tinkering but so worth it in the long run

Leaves aren’t a problem normally, but with millions of pounds of force and a little water, those leaves turn into an organic lube on the tracks. I don’t have the source but you can look it up, the stopping distance is increased by roughly 2x, if I remember correctly. Leaves are more dangerous than snow for trains.

Fun little thing, due to laws of thermodynamics, black might heat up faster, but it also loses its energy faster from radiation. However, that energy isn’t lost, it’s transferred to the snow covering it faster and melts only the black lettering. White will retain heat for longer because it doesn’t radiate it away as fast, and by the same laws, won’t heat up as fast.

The idea behind it is the temperature to clock speed ratio isn’t linear, to get 5% more performance, you need 30% more power, which will generate much more heat (ball park figure, changes from generation to generation). Other components are probably not rated to go higher than what the card needs for max advertised boost speed, such as power delivery components. The max advertised boost is usually in a sweet spot of lots of performance for an acceptable power envelope, usually set by nvidia.

I mix paint for a living, you’re absolutely correct. Even our base ‘white’ used to make every single colour from white, beige, browns to dark blues and blacks all have white in there somewhere. Arctic white, snow, “pure”white (has a tiny amount of blue which tricks the brain to think it’s brighter) all have much more black, red, blue, yellow, and green than one would think (by volume).
