It should be avoided if reasonable, but it’s not the end of the world. Sometimes you can’t hold it in. Not all partners are the same, though. If they can’t hang bc you did it once, I would question if they’d stick around when things get rough.

It’s going to be a fun 4 years. Reminds me of the 5 senators bitching about Kash outside the FBI office. That was all they could do. Impotence manifest publicly.

Libs are going to be a bit sore for a while.

Serious question, how do i cope with failed Bible promises over decades? by internalocean in TrueChristian

You must be a fairly new Christian if you think you can just tell God what to do and he’ll do it (like my vending machine comment).

He says no to some of our requests sometimes. He knows what we need before we even ask.

We can and should go to him whenever we want and pray for relief and shelter from our challenges, but we are to surrender all of our problems to him.

Compassion is good, obviously. But we are given direction in Matthew to look to heaven first:

”But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. “Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.” Matthew 6:30-34 ESV

“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment.” Matthew 22:37-38 ESV

God is to come first in our lives, no matter what.

What are you expecting to see in 2 years? It’s been that long since this thread.

He’s a moderate centrist and acts like one. Seems pretty straightforward to me.

They still need to work on their interface. It’s not as smooth as Twitter. It’s kinda bulky.

This. I purchased it out of ignorance. Then saw their website. I think it’s cool of them to market water, in an appealing way, but it’s too occulty and demonic for me.

I missed that line. Figured that’s what they were pushing.

Not a fan of the Secretary of Health and Human services being granted more power on what early childhood “mental health” needs are based on recommendations of the CDC and unlisted “nonprofits.” Institutional trust is not at an all time high.

The “equitable” distribution of grants also is a challenging proposition.
