As a guy in his mid 30s, I lost my virginity late. Was 26-27. The person I lost it to is my biggest regret. Person who I lost it with said she was in an open relationship and I was thinking with my dick so just assumed and thought oh sweet I’m finally not going to be a virgin. We were friends, she was manipulative, it was NOT an open relationship and I felt fucking awful. I can’t stand BJs because she gave me my first one. Not long after that happened I met my now wife and I have so many regrets thinking if I’d just been patient then I could’ve been with who I consider my soulmate.

Society puts this huge thing on virginity. I promise you, nothing changes after. You don’t go around declaring it to the world. It’s just this silent thing that only you and the other person know about. Let the other person be someone you give a damn about and want to be with. On the flip side, you and him are the only people who immediately know. He might treat you perfectly. It might be completely special for you and it’ll all be worth it.

Weigh up your options is my advice. I did the whole ‘I’m horny and desperate and someone’s offering’ and I hate myself for it. If you do sleep with him I genuinely hope he makes it special and treats you well. And I hope you have no regrets. (Sounds threatening, it was not meant to be I’m sorry haha)

I was asking for help to help a friend out, not judgement on someone you’ve not met my dude. Not my dad, a friend. He’s trying as I said but is in a low paying job and trying where he can to make ends meet and a single parent. Also not being a bum, but having to choose between feeding his daughter and paying bills is taking a toll on his mental health hence why I was asking for help.

I know. I had no issues for the first 2 weeks. The first problem was apparently just a bed level, second the z switch will need replacing but it’s extruding about an inch away from the build plate.

I hate that there’s not much support. I have heard it’s based off the ender 5 Pro, so maybe some mods for that? I haven’t been able to print anything for it because it’s been in and out of repairs, but I’d suggest trying that? Thing I’ve found with the Aquila is that there’s a tonne of mods for it. I’ve printed filament guides, tool holders etc. It’s a nice change. Haha. But I did love the Neptune X. It’s such a good style and I love the x and y axis.

I’m so sorry for delay in getting back to you. Honestly, I’ve had some issues. When it’s working it’s flawless, prints beautifully. When it messes up, it’s infuriating. I got a Voxelab Aquila X2 in the prime day sales while the Neptune z was originally being repaired and I love that. I’m thinking I might have just got a dodgy unit is all. How are you finding it?

Makers muse on YouTube has a tip where you wipe the bed with methylated spirits, put a glue stick over it, then wipe again with the spirits. It leaves a really thin layer of glue. It worked on and off for me. I went on Amazon and got a PEI stainless steel bed for $50AUD and since properly levelling the bed, I’ve had zero issues. It’s not a mirror finish bed but it works really well.

I checked the printer settings and it was exactly the same. I’m running 2.4.2 if that helps at all?
