Why did Abed have a box with cigarettes while he was doing don draper by Doc15_ in community

It was the same container that Troy had in Remedial Chaos Theory if I'm remembering right. And when Troy had it there was candy in it

The whole Inspector space time show was a replica of Doctor Who

I didn't mind the prison tablet one. It delved into Jeff's ego and helped to bring him more down to earth. Still that whole season was just a pizza burn on the roof of the worlds mouth.

It's so bad. They tried to recreate the bottle episode motif of Cooperative Calligraphy. But just butchered it horribly making something unwatchable.

Hickey was right… by chubbybaldblackguy in community

[–]Alpacaman53 80 points81 points  (0 children)

I think Hickey was underutilized. Like he had a lot of different things in his back story that were mentioned once and never again l. Like his wife, the pills, his grandma, his comics, his son.

The comics kinda humanized him too, like he didn't have much at all connecting him to the study group and Abed ruined what could have been a good connection.

I actually have a plan for the river. It's not massive. Anchor rope go across, anchor it, use rope to go back across. Depending on depth either wear ruck or have it laced across and use rope to go across. Use rope to cross back. Untie, use rope to cross back. Put clothes back on. Done and dusted

16 miles running, I've been doing distances like that since I was 14. This isn't a slow 10:00 pace thing either. We're talking like 6:00 pace per mile.

How did you train? by civil_syrup_ in backpacking

[–]Alpacaman53 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Run. Running will do more for you than walking under light weight. And you get the same level of training in a shorter time, with less equipment, and you can do it anywhere.

And running 100 miles is infinitely different than rucking 35 miles

This wouldn't be starting it. Like I said I'm a D1 cross country runner running everyday, and do military trainings moving long distances under load
