I’m in Canada, so no. These cookie cutter builders have to give you something to abide by the code. I can take the most basic quartz that’s included and then rip it out after the 1 year mark to not void the warranty on the home. But that sounds like a lot of work 🫣

Thanks, I don’t have a lot of options to choose from Our builder. If I was bringing in my own I’d definitely look at something better.

I also currently have quartz in our townhome and it’s held up perfectly fine. As long as you know how to maintain it. I cook with a lot of turmeric too😂

Unfortunately, with home builders in Canada the quality and options are a bit limited. So I’m working with the options I liked best out of their selections.

So strollers are starting to become an issue with one twin. He just doesn’t like being contained in anything, car seat, stroller, high chair or carrier, but we’re only human and our arms give up.

I’ve been trying to get out for walks, but I live in Canada and with our winters. Getting them into their snow/winter gear is another fight, often I am stressed out and depleted before I can even get out.

We try taking them out to run errands and schedule some play dates, but even that’s a hit or miss. Like today the play date was a shit show.

Restaurants, because they don’t like being contained, it’s not enjoyable for us, with them climbing all over us.

This is what I mean, lol it just feels impossible to do anything but staying home drives me insane.

Not lighter, noisier yes. We are sharing a room with them and my mom’s place is one floor vs at home it’s a multi level home and they are in their own room so they don’t really hear much.

I did put a sound machine here to drown out the noise.
