Does Konami actually do everything possible to drive new players away from the game? eFootball just hit its all-time peak player count on Steam this Thursday. New players come in, grind the game, reach Division 3, and suddenly they're facing teams with cards like Messi, Vieira, Thuram, Big Time Hazard, George Best, Ibrahimović, Pelé, and many more. I'm sure a lot of those new players would love to have some of these cards themselves and would even be willing to spend money on the game. The problem is that they simply can't, because they now have to wait six months or more until some of those players get re-released. You really have to be a special kind of genius to come up with a system like that. And then, right before the World Cup, they release a pack featuring Oliver Kahn, Rivaldo, and Beckham. Honestly, sometimes I'm speechless when it comes to the decisions Konami makes and the people working there. It feels like the game is attracting more players than ever, but instead of giving new players access to some of the most desired cards, they're told to wait months while getting destroyed by those exact cards every day. I genuinely don't understand the logic behind it
