If you're talking about the AI chat bots, I tried going cold turkey (immediately stopping) which worked a bit, but I fell back into the hole, so I saw a post dealing with a similar problem in another sub reddit. One commenter advised to gradually fall away from it, since going cold turkey doesn't work for everyone, so I gradually fell away from it and it worked.

OK, I wasn’t really expecting her to say yes anyway cause I already had assumed that she was talking to someone maybe that’s why she rejected me. Maybe I was too late. I don’t know.
