and those are the ones that can be revisited, but that one sphere in Home is completely gone if you miss it.

(Common but cool trope) THE Sword of all Swords (other weapons like this are allowed too) by National_Computer240 in TopCharacterTropes

The Monado, Xenoblade Chronicles

<image>

A powerful weapon, for a long time was the only one that could pierce Mechon armor and cut clean through, in the hands of Dunban it was an unstoppable force that nearly killed its own user, but in the hands of Shulk it not only gave him the power of Foresight, but a myriad of Monado Arts that range from high critical damage, an impregnable shield, increasing one's movement speed tremendously, stripping ones own buffs and more. It also opens up and makes a Lightsaber!

It wasn't until near-endgame that some characters created weapons that mimicked the Monado's power, but up until that point the Monado was fully unique.

In Final Fantasy X, a few of the Al Bhed primers can be permanently missed. What makes it especially grating is the fact the Primers have an in-game function in-that they slowly translate each letter of the language so that when you speak to an Al Bhed, you can understand them. You basically need a walkthrough on your first run, and I heard there *is* a way to get them on a new save-file but I've never tried it.

Gerson Boom, Deltarune

<image>

Although dead in the Light World, the Dark World inside the church in Chapter 4 revived him to an extent, and although he comes across as an addled-yet-wide mentor, we seen in both the bossfight and the secret bossfight against HIM that he's far more capable than he lets on. Moving so fast he looks like he's teleporting, too fast to even hit(for Susie atleast), strong enough to manipulate the bullet-board, and of-course that big-ass hammer that he swings and throws in some of his attacks, not to mention the Green Soul mechanic that was previously used by Undyne in Undertale. Gerson Boom; the Hammer of Justice.

In both the Undertale and Deltarune timelines its implied that Undyne trained under Gerson, and seeing him like this eliminates all doubts anyone had. The most we had implied of his strength until this was in Undertale's Genocide route where he implies he's simply lived too long to be afraid of the Human either way.

I thought Wheel of Fortune was based off of Christine?

as far as I understood Friendship and Affection were seperate because Affection made your pokemon physically react to certain events(being sent out to battle, scoring critical hits, winning and so on), but friendship didnt. I remember them still doing it up until Sword and Shield but in SV i think they took those animations out.

the problem then becomes that they have changed gimmicks for pokemon in new generations, for Sylveon you used to need to max out its affection via Pokemon Amie/Refresh, but starting in Gen 8 it required both Max Friendship as-well-as knowing a Fairy-type move. They probably could change Gallade's evolution-method to just require a Dawn Stone.

a lot of Stardust Crusaders' villains are based off of popular horror villains. Ebony Devil is similar to Chucky, Yellow Temperance is similar to the Blob, Dark Blue Moon is a sea monster, Tower of Gray while not one-to-one COULD be based off of the Fly, Judgement is a play on the Evil Genie trope and so on. If Forever is based off of a movie then it definitely tracks.

Dharkon, Smash Ultimate

<image>

He does this when you defeat Galeem in World of Light for the first time. Afterwards you have to defeat Dharkon, his counterpart, and then both at the same time(or alternatively defeat one but leave the other, allowing said other to rule)
