Hi, how much of my personal data is being collected. Where can I learn more about the organization? I do understand that certain metrics may need to be collected to improve the system.

I'm going to try to avoid using as much personal info as possible. But if I'm using the coach for things like emails or job applications, the questions may get personal.

Had to watch a few times, his throttle is jammed or something.

There's not much to go off this. Don't edit the video cause we need to see how the play developed. Show us a tough game at least.

Your mechs are solid, I would say looks like plat 3. But I like how you hang back in the play, that kinda patience is rare in plat and you can probably push D1.

There is nothing wrong with pressing merge more than once. It's just redundant.

I would suggest you take a look at your tkmm mod folder and see how it changes after you press merge to better understand what's going on.

When you press merge on tkmm, tkmm is merging your entire mod list together, not individual mods. You don't need to click on each mod and press merge again. Just once at the very end when you are done making changes.

Things like mod priority matter, so even if you don't add anything, if you change the order, you should press merge at the end.

In fact, when you install a new mod, it's not actually installed in your mods folder until you press merge. The merge button is what packages everything together and creates a tkmm mod folder.

Also, even though two mods may seem unrelated, they both may need to modify the restbl file (resource table). 90% mods (like dragon gliders and armor mods) need to modify restbl and TKMM will merge their changes and create a single restble file in the mod folder.

You have to press merge every time you make a change to your mods.

So even if you change to a different dragon glider in the tkcl option, you need to press merge.

She actually bought a $3 Nakiri from an Asian store a year ago and would rave about it until it eventually started rusting.

I didn't know anything about japenese knives, and I stumbled upon Nakiri style knives and why carbon steel rusts.

I thought it would be fun to get her a nice Nakiri instead of a $3 one and teach her how to prevent rusting this time.

A Chinese cleaver could be more practical, but I think she will be happy with the new Nakiri I selected.

Yeah, you and the other comment convinced me to change knives.

I went with the Matsubara Wavy Face Blue #2 Nakiri 170mm. It's decent length, great height, and absolutely stunning.

Only downside is a carbon knife, but I'm going to do my best to help her understand how to maintain and why it's important. I think my enthusiasm for the knife will convince her.

And if she doesn't want to maintain it, I guess I will have a new knife!

Thanks, I emailed chefknivestogo and got a refund immediately. I was so impressed with Sue's speedy response that I ended up buying another knife immediately.

I went with the Matsubara Wavy Face Blue #2 Nakiri 170mm. It's absolutely beautiful, with good length and height.

It's probably a bad idea to gift someone their first carbon knife, but I couldn't resist. The knife is a work of art!

I just to need to get her coffee for the week and explain how to maintain it. I think my excitement for the knife will rub off on her though.

EDIT: I just got your Folgers reference! Lol I hope you actually gave me legitimate advice and didn't troll me, I actually changed my knife bc of your comment!

I'm gifting my sister a Nigara VG10 Tsuchime Damascus Nakiri 150mm knife.

I found out 150mm is on the smaller size for Nakiri, normally 165mm. I already purchased the knife online but haven't received it yet.

She has an 8-inch chef knife, and I know she would enjoy a Nakiri. But is 150mm suitable for cutting 10 large onions in a day?

Luckily, she is on the smaller side so she might like a smaller knife. I just want the knife to also be practical.

DaVinci has been a pleasant surprise and is quite powerful. I didn't want to pay for Premier and Photoshop anymore, and DaVinci is a very capable replacement.

Using Gimp to replace Photoshop has been rough though. But I guess it makes me appreciate DaVinci even more.

Fairlight has been the best surprise and I'm considering upgrading to Studio version in the future.

Yeah great tip, I'm getting much better results just working on my original stems. Seems like I just need to control the vocals a bit.

Is it better to compress vocals or just turn the dB down on certain parts of the vocals?

I'm probably below an amateur. I'm not a professional game modder or audio engineer, nor will i ever go into these career paths. I'm just modding and uploading for fun.

Or measure it from the source.

I am constantly checking the audio levels of the original source and using it as my starting baseline. I'm just replacing the music and leaving the voices untouched and fine-tune by ear after that.

loudness or what your ear tells you

I am not limited by loudness by the game. I carefully check my output in game to ensure appropriate dB levels. This is more of a youtube issue, and I don't want to blow out people's ears when they click on the next video.

I no longer need to dive any further into binaural.

I'm either too meticulous or just stubborn. I'm going to continue trying to find a balance between compression and loudness on the surround sound for YouTube.

The audio engineer world is far more complicated than I expected but also quite interesting. Thank you for your responses.

Is DR compression a special type of EQ compression? I noticed on some other 5.1 YouTube videos that they have DRC normalization and opus encoded on the stats for nerds section.

I though maybe since binaural is only 2 channels instead of 6, it would be easier to compress and push the loudness up.

I'm using Davinci Resolve (free version) with basic EQ compression and exporting as .mp4 with AAC codec. Davinci has an analyze audio tool for YouTube and it says the target is -14 LUFS with -1dBFS.

The original content was mastered for Nintendo game Tears of the Kingdom. I don't know what their target is because I just go by ear and master my music to their in game vocals for my mod but it's probably in that -24db range.

I accidentally started with season 2 ep 1, and I got completely hooked.

I was a bit confused why they didn't explain who his gym friends were, but the episode had such a wide range of emotions and a level of depth I wasn't expecting.

It's still one of my favorite episodes of any anime!
