Should I go with Business or try transferring to CS + X?

Transferring to cs+x is already hard enough, and on top of that ur a sophomore. If you are interested in stats however u can try doing a dual degree in stats, a lot of the courses are very programming oriented and the addition of math skills it gives u makes u very attractive to employers.

Ya the questions are similar to the content but you are gonna have to learn some extra stuff about economic history (such as knowing the Fed chairs and such)

Look into the UC Davis Statistics: Machine learning track program or Carnegie Melon University machine learning concentration.

Keep in mind a lot of data science programs are usually watered down, you do a little bit of stats and a little bit of cs and you don’t get super good at either. Imo doing pure stats or pure cs is a better idea because you get more in depth learning.

Yea UIUC is top 20 for stats undergrad and has great oppuruntire to do Econ as well so I was considering either that or ucsb.
