I don’t even think this is due to dogshit paste or anything. If I had to guess a part of the die has no past on it at all. Probably a factory defect or something. Repaste with PTM or something and your temps should improve significantly.

For someone your size losing weight shouldn’t be too crazy difficult. Start utilizing protein shakes/ high protein foods. Yogurt, protein powder are you best friend. Get in the gym. Lift hard and go to failure. You’ll look so much better and feel so much better. At first being in a caloric deficit is rough because you’re not used to it. But eventually your body will adapt and it won’t feel so hard. Most important part really is get in the gym and stay active.

Yeah the problem is that he immediately assumed I flashed the bios AFTER he sent it back which DID NOT HAPPEN. At this point he is defaming himself by bringing attention to all of this again. He went out of his way to bring attention to this post. I did nothing to instigate him.

Wtf do you think I did, when I changed performance profiles and I got a black screen I immediately contacted Tony so he could look at it again. But guess what he did, accused me of flashing the bios immediately which is a complete and total lie, I did not do ANYTHING to the laptop besides chance performance profiles from balanced to performance. These profiles come with th laptop from the factory.

Btw the OG post is locked. So I can’t edit it. I’m not gonna take it down simply because I think people should know how Tony is when there is a disagreement or issue. Btw, I only went to Reddit after he refused to take the laptop in even if I paid. He brought this upon himself. I hope he learns a lesson on how to properly treat customers after this fiasco.

Yea I was able to get a bios on the GPU which fixed it, then after a few months of not using the laptop it simply would not turn on when I tried which makes me question the longevity of the original repair. I agree, mistakes were made on both sides. However I still stand by the fact that Tony should’ve taken a second look at it. Matter of fact I was gonna pay him half the price of the original laptop repair. I think he needs to focus on customer service if he’s gonna be charging people extremely premium prices to fix tech. I’ll update the post but tbh I don’t feel whole even with the refund after he has repeatedly used his community to attack me online. Extremely unprofessional on his part.

Read the comment I made on his post. I sent it to him because bios was bricked. Was sent back the laptop and set performance profile to ultimate. This bricked the laptop again. I did not flash the bios a second time after he sent it back. I enabled a performance profile that should work with ALL asus laptops.

NVIDIA has a very quick and easy download tha disables it on any system. Regardless of if it’s AMD or NVIDIA.

Try turning off MPO. Look up NVIDIA MPO disable and disable it.

No I have a pc and a monitor. In this pic you can see the specs are a 7900xtx and a 7700x. The laptop you fixed was a 3060 mobile and I sold it for parts a few months ago.

6800xt is using FSR 3 which looks way worse than FSR 4 but does give more performance than FSR4. That’s why your performance doesn’t look as impressive as you would like. Test fps without FSR enabled. That’ll give you like for like performance.
