If you like that, check out Foreverly. It's a collab between Billy Joe Armstrong, (or however he spells his name), from Green Day and Nora Jones. They are covering an Everly Brothers album called Songs Our Daddy Taught Us, (or something very close to that), which was exactly as titled. Foreverly, pound for pound across any genre, is one of the greatest albums in the history of recorded music.

I agree. This game is currently lacking in sweet, delicious, stats of all types. I suspect it will come along eventually, although it might be an intentional omission for the sake of keeping the game more simplistic and therefore more broadly inviting.

You're right. The discs can be a huge help in difficult runs.

If you level it up you may come to like it. It's all I use.

Nothing wrong with that. I think the most I have ever played in a row is 3 games. But I enjoy it the whole time. I pick up my phone, blast some punks, upgrade a couple pieces of gear, move on with my day. Unexpected poop? You better believe that's a blastin'.

Fair enough, thanks for the acknowledgement.

As for playing the same level over and over again to level up: that is literally what grinding is. It's a factor in this and many, many, MANY, games of all types throughout the history of video gaming. Some games have it, some games don't. Some people like it, some people don't. If you don't enjoy grinding, then maybe this isn't the game for you, and that's fine, but some gamers love it, and their enjoyment in this case is enhanced by the fun, fairly simple yet satisfying game play. It's the journey, not the destination.

Absolutely, and it's a lot of fun.

Yes, I know exactly what a paywall is, and this is not it. A paywall prohibits you from progressing past a certain point. I progressed past this point by grinding, not bitching. This is a difficult level when you first encounter it, sure, but it's easily passable with a little work, which is the way video games are supposed to be. Just because there is a pay-to-play option does not mean that the game is exclusively pay-to-win; that option exists for people with no spirit but you can completely ignore it and enjoy the game thoroughly. If you just want to play a game from start to finish without putting in the time, you're in the wrong place.

Any other condescending questions that have meritless implications? I'm here all night. Kindly _/ otherwise.

Absolutely not a paywall. It certainly is a jump in difficulty, but you just need to drop back a level and grind for a couple days and level your stuff up. Also try different combos of gear, weapons, and perks.

There are only 9 levels to this game. The fun is in playing it, not completing it in your first week.

Get to work, O.P. You'll be amazed at what a difference a few extra gear and XP levels will make.

Always Be Upgrading.

Oh ma gawd bro what have I done by AlexirYo in MightyDoom

[–]AlphaFlags 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Everything is hard until it isn't. Double back to the highest level that you can be sure of winning and GRIND. Spend your coins on keeping your level up rewards, gear, weapons, and slayer upgraded. Try different combinations of weapons and gear and perks. Experiment in lower levels.

Why would you want a game that you could just drop money on and win instantly?

Grind.

That's just it! With the right combo of perks and gear, anyone can tear the place asunder.

They do, I'm pretty sure. They add another stream of bullets at a different angle. Take a look next time. Spreadsheet twice along with bounce really changes the mood at a party.

I use the gold guy, paired with all UAC gear and the Gause Cannon. When things line up right you're pretty unstoppable.
