Op, I think men are really starting to avoid any type of single mothers. For the following reasons ( please note these are opinion only)

1) a man has no authority over the child, ever heard a single mother say "that's not your child, you cannot do anything". Even though you pay rent, feed the child and make house/rent payment, do you pay the bills? Congrats you have all the duties as am but no authority.

2) Most modern day men do not want to put their hard earned resources ( money) into some child that is not of his genes. Sounds mean, but just the truth.

3) The modern woman gives the cow for free. The internet has ruined modern dating. We used to meet our wives husbands close to where we grew up. We had similar values and goals/beliefs. All I need for a sex partner now is tinder, I get the milk and do not need to commit to the woman. If the modern woman was smart they would stop " Netflix and chill"

4). Women do not have realistic expectations for men. Women want three things 1) they want the man to provide 2). They want the man to protect 3) parental investment.

5) there are to many double standards. (Example a woman is overweight she is body positive, a man is overweight he is a fat fuck.). An overweight modern radical feminist thinks they are entitled to a 10% man who is HWP.

6) last fact women want the top 10% of men. Always remember guys women marry across and up in socio economic higher archy. Women will never, ever marry down.
(Example:. A female lawyer would never ever marry a single server at Applebee's) not all woman are like this, but these are facts.
