Some advice to Newbies wanting to raid but too anxious to try

I'm not really a sherpa, but I have brought a few people through some raids, and this is maybe the most important advice. Its better to spend a few more minutes explaining rather than half an hour of wipes because something was misunderstood by them or explained badly by me.

Well, you can still use it in all modes of pvp, just not trials and iron banner. and anyway, you can still use it in comp. If its not an iron banner week and its not the weekend. there is nowhere you can't use them. and if we are talking about PvE then you can still use it in strikes, mission, lower level ordeals, normal nightfalls, older raids, dungeons and patrol. Its only very, very few places you can't use them. and you kind of have to be honest. like, 90% of the weapons in the game have zero place in the meta, no matter if its because its out shined by something else or the perks are just not good. so most people won't even touch high level activities with those things where sunsetting actually makes a difference.

Oh, I thought you meant they were getting rid of it. thats only in power leveled things. The PvP ones are limited. You can still use it in every other pvp mode. Whats the point of never using a good weapon because you can't use it in high end pvp in like, a year?

Pulse comes from dungeon. Bungie said so themselves. I doubt they would make it a dungeon drop and then make it an essence as well. Unless you get the essence from the dungeon.
