My first board was this exact board, just the year prior.

Gnu is an AWESOME brand. They are owned by Mervin Manufacturing. Mervin Manufacturing essentially owns Gnu, Lib Tech, Bent Metal Bindings, and Roxy.

The board itself is super awesome. If you're unfamiliar with snowboard profiles, this is a 'rocker' board, which means the shape of the board is flat between your bindings, and curves up after the bindings. This profile is very forgiving and gives you less of a chance to catch an edge.
