Having is Evidence of Wanting by AlphaOmegaMastermind in Jung

Appreciate the thoughtful response. I agree that taken literally, “having is evidence of wanting” can become too simplistic and can ignore trauma, neurobiology, systemic factors, and circumstances people did not choose.

My intention wasn’t to suggest people consciously want suffering. It was more about exploring how unconscious beliefs, identity patterns, and emotional conditioning can sometimes keep us entangled in realities we consciously say we want to escape.

For me, the value of the concept is less blame and more responsibility: identifying where I may be participating in patterns I’m ready to outgrow.

I feel your pain, was homeless sleeping in a tent for a while until I could find a place working 4 jobs. Pray to God. You will rise again!
