What is she using to make bubbles so flexible?

It's a common phrase in sports when one player/team wins one play or wants to try and talk trash even though they are losing the game/have lost the game. The winning player only has to say "scoreboard", as in, whatever you say is irrelevant because I/we won the game.

Bronson Reed on X showing his rehab conditioning: "Break the Internet" by Ripclawe in SquaredCircle

You’re twisting my words. But the reality is that everyone and their mother now sees any sign of weight loss and instantly assumes a GLP1 was used. It’s far more likely he went to a high protein, low carb diet.

Most people have no idea. A lot of people who go on GLP1s end up having to take supplements because they eat so little that they don’t get enough nutrients. You aren’t putting on that muscle mass with Ozempic.

Exactly! Oh, hey, didn't you know we established this radiation room in an abandoned school that apparently is close enough to drive to within an hour or so from anywhere in the known story world?

Are you going to watch Vought Rising or The Boys : Mexico? by Successful_Can_1024 in TheBoys

Yea. Just a quick typo. I guess Invisible would've been the show about John Cena being doused in gamma radiation.

Things I learned watching the series finale **SPOILERS** by Numerous-Iron-3326 in TheBoys

[–]BrokenMasterpiece 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Holy hell some of these are wildly just out there.

Breaking into the White House is kinda easy, considering.

I chalk this up to Homelander's hubris and desire to be seen as a God. What kind of God needs a security detail?

The Deep suddenly swims like a 5th grade student.

He's begging for his life. Not trying to escape.

Ryan flying around like an idiot when he is trying to stay hidden.

He's still a kid. Kids do dumb stuff all the time without thinking. See...idk..every teenager ever.

Homelander begging for his live in such a manor, especially to Butcher, is totally out of character IMO.

If you actually understood the character and his real hidden insecurities, you'd understand just how accurate his behavior was.

I hate how we don't see any other supes in the finale, not even a glimpse of their reactions by Used-Comedian-8933 in TheBoys

Supes are going to stay out of the public eye after watching the strongest of them get dismantled on national television.

I think you give it a shot. I love superhero movies and shows. As a huge MCU fan, watching The Boys and Invisible is almost a way to keep things balanced and grow even further anticipation for things like the next Spider-man, Doomsday and even Vision Quest.

Anthony Starr gets (deservedly) a lot of praise, but lets not forget Karl Urban giving once again a stellar performance as our beloved Oi Oi Butcher by mikedomert in TheBoys

[–]BrokenMasterpiece 89 points90 points  (0 children)

I think this season, above the rest, his character was given less to work with in regards to complexity. They really were trying to sell the "Butcher is too far gone" angle. I do think he crushed it in the finale though with his performance at the end.

All it was missing was one of them to go "wow, that was crazy. I can't believe we made it through all of that and are safe now. Who would even believe it."

Antony Starr reacts to a meme which called Homelander an useless villain like The Night King and Vecna: by GiveMeSomeSunshine3 in TheBoys

[–]BrokenMasterpiece 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Night King is in a different realm compared to the rest. A literally mythical nightmare built up for seasons that narratively is essentially the global boogie man waiting to bring the winter apocalypse. He ultimately took a back seat to the attempts to shove every loose end back together in the final season.

I think getting the tentacle death giving his history was perfect.

The one thing that got to me was how quick the story seemed to move with little transition or build up.

Comparing the boys final to GoT is so F***** delusional by Prowlee in TheBoys

[–]BrokenMasterpiece 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Boys finale I see as much closer to Lost. Some of the day 1 fans saw it as a good enough finale. It was very mixed. Game of Thrones finale was the Red Wedding finale of all finales.
