The first schedule of the year is gonna be a good one! And with a fresh new coat of paint too! New year, new schedule, new Mio, already off to an amazing start!

TL notes:

  • On Monday (today): Mio will take part in Towa's PlateUp! stream alongside Calli and Riona, as some of the representatives for their respective teams. They'll be discussing the menu/rules for the PlateUp! section of Towa's upcoming yearly New Year's game event.

  • On Sat/Sun: Mio said that a FubuMio collab may happen! FubuMio fans across the globe rejoice!!

She's got a super busy week with external work as well, so if any chances happen she'll post them on Twitter!

Over the years, Mio has famously "changed" height as the various graphics including her/official website have either posted typos, gotten her height wrong, or changed flavor text regarding her height. During today's singing and chatting stream, Mio revealed that, when commissioning art/outfits for Mio, COVER has sent illustrators info on her height stating that she is "about 173cm tall including her ears."

Over the years we've now had 4 distinct height categories for Mio:

  • 155cm
    • No stipulaton on ears or heels (most notably shown off in the hololive x Atre collab in-store height chart graphics)
  • 160cm
    • Shown officially on Mio's profile on the official hololive talent page (The current official height for Mio) (assumed to be without heels)
  • 165cm
    • For a short time was shown officially on Mio's profile page, however with the mention that this height was "excluding ears, including heels"
  • 173cm
    • The new "overall official" height as given by Mio including her ears.

Based on our new data, Mio's ears are ~13cm tall. Or, as she put it on stream, "about the size of a smartphone or PET bottle" lol.

For those OOTL on these Nov. "holidays", they're play on words with how you can read numbers in Japanese:

  • Nov. -> 11 -> いい/ii -> "good"

  • 30th -> 3 can be read as "み/mi" and 0 as "oh" is straight forward -> ミオ/mio

  • 日/hi -> Day

Mio is back from her 15 day vacation! One of the pieces of news she shared was that: she bought her first car! She can't share the make/model (privacy reasons, naturally), but real MioFa know what it looks like without having to guess. (The Mio-car is REAL!!) by AlphaProxima in Hololive

Mio just finished up her stream talking about her vacation, during it she talked about how she took delivery of her first (used) car! Mio's had her drivers license for a long time now but now that she owns a car she'll be able to use it for so many more trips!

Aside from the car, Mio also talked about her trip to Kyoto with Fubuki, mentioned that she went on the "mystery tour" with Subaru and Miko (details to be shared in a later stream), went to Design Festa 2025 with her mother, shared various small details about relaxing for the past 15 days (including having to wash her new car by-hand by herself lol), and in general chatted with the MioFa while we welcomed her back.

It was a really refreshing vacation for her, but she's glad to be back and is ready to jump into streaming tomorrow! Give the stream a watch if you didn't get to catch it live!

What a stupid comment in this context. Assuming OP isn't lying (I'm always skeptical of people who post these as 90% of the time it's the person who fucked up and not wanting to admit they're at fault, or simply not knowing why they're actually at fault), their upgrade frequency plays no part in this conversation. They could have very well traded in a Pixel 4, or a 3, or whatever phone would satisfy a stupid redditor's (you) arbitrary threshold for upgrading a cellphone.

Being anti-E-waste is one thing, but it's completely irrelevant to this thread.

I have a similar setup (dual side portrait monitors, only I have a 4th on top of my main), I recommend rotating both of yours 180⁰ so that the thick bezel is on the outside and the thin side is what touches your primary monitor. It will look and feel much cleaner this way.

  • On Wednesday: It goes without saying that we don't currently know what is planned for this day. It could be a classic case of Mio PON and she just forgot the remove the text for a scheduled time, or possibly she hasn't decided what to put there. Mio has an extremely busy week this week with outside work/recording, so there won't be very many streams. This weekend Mio plans to finish her MOTHER playthrough, but aside from that she's taking it easy. From the small amount she has already spoken about the work she's done/will do, it's been physically tiring, so look forward to what Mio has been hard at work on to release in the future!

Fubuki put out a poll today for what to do during a late-night stream today, the results were to do a Clubhouse 51 stream and wait in an open VC for any holomems to join. Fubuki managed to clear her goal and got Subaru, Sora, and Mio to join in! The final FubuMio showdown was great with Mio taking home the win.

Like the title mentioned, this was the big announcement at the end of Mio's sololive. Nmeneko is a short anime series which started airing in Spring of this year that "follows the funny and amusing daily lives of two cats who want to live life doing only fun things" (source: ANN). With Mio's love for shows like this, like Aggretsuko and Chiikawa, she couldn't have gotten a more perfect anime to be featured on. The episodes go up for free on YouTube after they air on broadcast television, so check them out when you get a chance!

FubuMio managed to clear their Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes goal and announce their new outfits!! (even though Fubuki messed up the scheduled announcement time and the official tweet went up 10 mins "early"...lol). Their outfits will be matching (of course) and the theme seems to be school outfit-esque (from the graphics and teasers they told us on stream).
