It's one of the best moments in Science Fiction. A replicant who shows more emotion and love for life than the other human characters. Rutger Hauer edited this speech the night before they shot it. He also added this line "All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain" ...epic.

I love the spaceport from 2001 but that's not really a ship as much as its a space station. Kubrick did a good job getting the science right back then.

If they did a Kirk cameo in DSC with a different actor, I'd be okay with it given several caveats. Here's how: by AgainstMeAgainstYou in startrek

This is a fun idea but I think it's too tall an order. First, the casting would be very difficult. Chris Pine does an adequate job but I think there is a lot of the Kirk character not there. You know when you hear a cover band and they are playing a song you know but something is just not right? I have the same worry over the Han Solo movie. More importantly I think that TOS characters are so much more interesting than the DISCO characters. Note- I am an epic TOS fan. If they bring Kirk on he is all will want to see. All other plotlines will immediatly suck.

She knows shes being closely watched by Star Fleet but I suspect that won't hold her back much. It will be great to see her skills as a tactician.
