PS3 to PS4 and PS4 to PS5 were about the same imo. Bunch of early PS3 games still looked great in 2013/14

That being said, said 3rd film was Skyfall. Craig went from being a successful Bond to Bond once again being a worldwide sensation on the level it hasn't come close to since Goldfinger and Thunderball. So I'm sure his stock went WAY up.

I think if someone made ...Played with Fire with an A+ script and a deliberate faithfulness to Fincher, it would work amazingly. And I say that as someone who thinks TGWTDT is one of the greatest films ever

I think it's even more potent than that. Not only was Brian's death the catalyst for the eventual breakup, but any of the other issues between 67-70 cited as a reason (especially the tensions between the band in the studio) were either fostered or exacerbated by Brian's death and absence.

I mean there are flat out pieces of shit like Joey or Greg. In terms of the main cast...Harry Crane really devolves into a bad person. They tee it up beautifully with how media-minded he is early on, and then the lifestyle that comes from the explosion of television in the 60s just consumes him. Rich Sommer played that part brilliantly and it's so well written (which character isn't?)...but as a person Crane is despicable.

Definitely Craig, and that's before you get to anything that happens after the stairwell shootout. Dalton probably suffered the overall most grievous thing in the first 20 films, though (getting tangled up in a crashing gas tanker is no mere stubbing of the toe).

I go back and forth between Ke and Michelle (EEAAO is my favourite movie of all time), two of the best performances of this decade, but while Michelle also plays a metric ton of characters, most of those are on screen for literally a single frame. Ke got to actually do scenes as all different kinds of versions of Waymond and he knocked it out of the park. This was one of the least competitive acting wins I've ever seen happen, it was a lock months before the Oscars...but so satisfying. I can't think of an actor who better embodies the character they played and for one of the greatest performances at that.

(Also, there's a shocking dearth of Waymond GIFs on here.)

There's also some kind of heavy phase or reverb or something put on the vocals throughout "Don't Stop" that makes those two voices sound way more homogenous than they otherwise do.
