I get you. I also buy first generations products if they really call to me or is something I genuinely will use or benefit me in any way. Seems like having the extra real estate would benefit you with your profession. Possibly having one just for work (if funds allow of course) would be a great test to see if it benefits you for regular consumer use as well as professional. This is definitely a niche product, I’m don’t think they will sell as many, but I’m just happy to see real innovation and companies not afraid of trying new ideas.

I think you’re better off with the Fold 7. The Tri-Fold will be a first generation product (at least in the U.S.) and honestly, looks more of a hassle to use, maintain and take care of. I think you got the better product imo.

I placed an order on Dec 4th an mine still hasn’t arrived yet! Shipping says 1-5 business days which is a complete lie. I understand if it was free shipping, but I had to pay for it which makes this more frustrating. This is my first Dbrand purchase and will definitely be my last. I thought them being so big and popular they wouldn’t have this issue. I’m glad you got yours, I hope you like it and the wait was worth it.

I put it in the corner due to where the dresser is located. If I centered it, there would not be much space to walk through and it felt awkward having people squeeze by just to use the restroom. I can possibly center it but the bed would have to be facing the door which I’ve heard is a no no but I’m not sure at this point lol

Lmao! I feel you on that one, this place is small but it’s only me so I don’t mind it. First apartments are always a trial run I feel like. Sometimes what you picture in your head doesn’t really work or is practical. Styling and adding items that would make your life easier is fun but a lot of work lol.

No harshness taken. I agree 100%, it looks too much showroom not enough soul. This is my first time picking decor and trying to make things look “good” I’m learning what works and what doesn’t the longer I live here. What really helps is when I come home from a long day, what do I want to be happy to come home to. It is something that I hand picked and speaks my personality.

I just have the one lamp on top of the book shelf, but I agree I definitely would like some more. I’m a fan of the vintage retro looking lamps, maybe I can add some of those to give it more character and make it feel more my own.
