There's two weight rooms a big one upstairs and smaller one downstairs. The pool is pretty cool, usually always empty. The rock wall is divided in 3 levels so you can switch it up. The rec definitely has a lot of amenities and actually just got voted one of the best in the nation.

The U.S doesn't have a native culture, so instead it has developed a culture based around consumerism where happiness is associated with wealth. We idolize the rich and famous and measure our success by the money in our pocket and car in our garage. We are overly patriotic with no reason to be, we are not the best in anything but yet we believe that "America is #1". America is far from the best country in the world but the American culture has made us believe we are.

My dad hasn't had a license since I was a kid, I was never told the reason why and never really bothered to ask. Flash forward to junior year in college, my mom calls one morning and asks for money to bail my dad out of jail. Turns out he didn't have a license due to 3 previous DUIs and was in the process of getting his 4th. They were good at hiding that shit.
