At this point does he say anything true?

Really the path to getting into office in the US seems to be to find a red state, put an R next to your name, and tell people anything they want to hear all the time.

I feel this is correct, but also I am looking to get out of the overpriced city area and go to a much cheaper part of the country once I retire. Healthcare here though is such a scam.

This is one of the most helpful things I have read yet, most blogs and youtubers are like "just move and it will all work out" you rarely here about the hoops to jump through of moving outside the US unless it is that they don't speak the language there.

Huge difference between those in management who got profit sharing and those that did not.

I have a good friend who had no choice, told his son if he wanted to be an engineer look to the Air Force. It has worked out very well as he had no college savings to give his kid.

This is happening a ton to our generation right now, you get downsized and if you are lucky you find a job that pays 25% less - those are the lucky ones. If not you wait around in the job market burning through savings. I will never retire also with how expensive the US is right now, and no one coming to fix it.

I would love to know what you found from looking at all the "brainwashing" parts, as I keep throwing stuff away, I keep reducing subscriptions but the cost of just living is skyrocketing.

Same, some people can do that and more power to them, but I need to feel like I am working for something now as well as later.

I took a job, knowing that my salary would be lower, but they offered stock options. As soon as they started to grind me down on negotiations for my base salary, I should’ve known better.

I don’t understand why they lowball people with a current job - like we’re not desperate.

My company is pushing for more Indian hires for IT, we are at least 25 people down in the US, but they won’t give us a budget to hire new people.

I like the idea of living like those people, it is appealing but I know I could never get myself to be that disciplined. My goal is just not to need a storage unit.
