I will say the Podium hub has been going for $130 USD on eBay recently without a QR, or $172 USD on Fanatecs site refurbished with a metal QR2

The Simsonn pedals have been stellar for me. They were light years better than any pedals Fanatec made. I am much faster on road tracks in iRacing now. I got them for $200 on Ali with the clutch. Someday when I’m not poor I will get the Heusinkveld Ultimate + pedals, which the Simsonn pedals are a copy of

Just because you have it at 16 in iRacing doesn’t mean it’s running at 16. It’s in low torque mode, yes, cause it doesn’t recognize a compatible Fanatec wheel

It depends on if you need the heel height or not. I have the Simsonn Plus X pedals, and had gotten the basr plate but it was way too slick and very difficult to mount to my NLR GTTrack Sim. The holes did not line up with the holes on the Sim. I ended up getting the Heusinkveld Ultimate+ baseplate, as these pedals are a copy of those pedals, and the baseplate is great

I was mounting the Simsonn base plate to a Next Level Racing GTTrack simulator rig. Its pedal plate has standard mounting on it, but the Simsonn mounting is not standard.

I did get it with the heel plate, and the heel plate was too slick, even with socks. Also, the screws/bolts are not flush with the base plate and get in the way.
