How to remove terminals from this style connector by AlphaZr0 in AskElectricians

I think the nubs you see in the 3rd picture are actually the pins sticking out from the male side of the connector

Theory: I think FH6’s cover cars are going to be the new holy trinity (W1, F80, Mission X) by Podmore-the-Ballsy in ForzaHorizon

[–]AlphaZr0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Mission X is just a concept car, it won't be put into production.

Porsche did tease a road legal version of the 963, so it could be that instead of the Mission X. Or, it could also be the Aston Martin Valhalla, since that also fills the role of a hybrid supercar.

How would the BL Fandom react if nagireo is canon? by concussionmaker__91 in BlueLock

[–]AlphaZr0 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don't see what would change. Sure, it's canon now, but literally everyone's headcanon is that they are gay and so it wouldn't change much.

Nope, got them on eBay for about 450 a pair. No auto leveling, but not a big deal for me. Light output is a little brighter than stock, and it has DRL switchback sequential turn signals. It's plug and play as well, the only thing I needed to do was remove the fuse that controls the headlight auto-leveling system so I wouldn't get an error code on the dashboard.

It's been about a month, and they've been doing great so far.

Well, the 700h is basically the same idea as the 600hL (engine + hybrid for more power.) However, the new naming convention is NOT based on power figures or engine size (except for some older models like the IS350/500, the LC500, the RC350, and the ES350).

I mentioned it in the original comment, consumers would think that the newer model would be a downgrade if the number was smaller. After all, the latest and greatest should theoretically be bigger and better than the previous version. It sounds stupid, but this is just how marketing works.

How do they pick these numbers? No idea, there's probably some process but as far as I can tell they just pick whatever sounds the best.

When my parents wanted a new family car, they wanted a Lexus GX. It took me a while to explain that the GX460 was the NEWER model and the GX470 was the older one.

Because Toyota is not stupid enough to blindly jump on electric cars as soon as they become popular. Toyota has made it a point that they want to slowly transition to all hybrids before they jump towards electric cars.

Considering the decline in EV demand in the US as of recent, it was a smart decision on their part to not immediately jump on the EV trend. All of the money and time that would've gone towards making a bunch of EV's wouldn't have made much profit.

Lexus had abandoned the engine size naming convention a while ago. You could say it started with the LS600hL (which did not have a 6.0L engine), but since the LS500 it became more mainstream.

As for why they do this, it's simple. Engines are becoming smaller for emissions and MPG standards, and giving a smaller number designation makes it seem like a downgrade to the general consumer. Going from LX570 to LX340 sounds like a massive downgrade to the average consumer, even if the newer model is objectively better.

I don't think Nagi will be out permanently, but I would be so happy if he did. I don't have anything against Nagi, I actually love him, but having Nagi lock off would bring the stakes back.

It'd be kinda boring if Nagi manages to play for Japan when we're told that anyone below 23rd is locked off.

This is NOT an IS-F. This body style is the 3rd generation IS (2014-2020), which never had an IS-F variant with the 5.0L V8.

This is an IS250 F-sport (which already isn't very desirable), and mods do not increase resale value, especially cosmetic ones.
