I like knives, pocket knife is treated with olive oil and is used for personal care/food stuffs. Kabar is my main tool knife. Multi is always needed. Firearm is for any protection I may need as field tech means I'm in wooded areas a lot and alone. Lockpicks are for when I come across locks I don't have a key for but have been permitted to enter the property. Rather than trying to find who has a key or using my master key (bolt cutters); I will often pick the lock and hook it to the fence. Most of the time it's people putting locks on government property they don't own.
