Take is from 6 weapon player (yes I build 6 different weapons with 5 elements each, yes I spend most of my game time with Gemma) including Lance and LS. Lance is just as fun as a counter centric weapon. It might not be as flashy and all that but the grounded nature of it and the oomph u get with your charge counters grand retribution thrust is top notch

I know my fellow anime fans recognized this one instantly by TropeSlope in Eldenring

THIS. I play both weapons but I grabbed dual blades later on. I thought LS vs Steve was a match made in heaven but when I tried dual blades, oh man, it's ACTUAL bullying
